Download Film from Sky Store - awful sound

2024 and I wish I'd seen this post before buying the film! What a waste of £7.99! It's actually laughable!!  Did anyone get anything back from sky?

They refunded me when I complained, but that was a few years back when I first made this post.

Found this old post after trying to watch my old sky store purchase tonight (I originally bought it when the movie came out, and I don't remember there being a problem back then). At first I thought the actress playing lady Mary  had forgotten how she originally did the voice, but then lord crawley started speaking  quickly as well, then mrs patmore... they all sound like cartoons!

luckily they had the movie on Netflix which is fine.

It's 2025, the issue still isn't fixed as i just found out.  Paid for and downloaded the Downton Abbey movie, they all sound like they're on helium.  How does Sky think this is ok????

Have you tried changing the audio output of your Sky box to stereo or normal. 

(if you have Sky Q - its settings / setup/ audio visual / digital audio output )
