Why can't you use your sky store credit to rent films on your sky q box? It only allows you to view on your mobile device.

As @caesarome says - the use of credit has always been limited in this way
Other than premiere rentals - there are a few ways to view online rentals on your TV but it depends if you have certain devices and I see your main TV is a Samsung
You can use a recent LG TV with Skystore built in (This should work for Premiere rentals)
You can use a Chromecast or certain JVC and Sony TVs with built in Chromecast (realistically only a Chromecast ultra will give you a good picture on a 65inch TV)
If you have a PC or laptop with an hdmi output you can plug that in to your TV with HDMI

Find out moreIf you have credit as you have discovered it can't be used via your Sky Q box ut you can use it against a Buy and Keep film or program which you can then view via your box - you just can't do this with a rented film. Quite why it is like this I wouldn't know but it has always been this way.

Yep noticed that but.i.dont wa.t go use my £14.96 credit on buying a film. I want to use it to rent a film. I don't understand why they won't let you do that so you can view on your TV as opposed to your little mobile device.

I've got the new Chromecast with Google TV but I don't believe the app lets you cast it. However good thinking on the pc idea. I've got a custom pc connected to my AVR.
Thanks for the idea.

It's always useful to know exactly what does.
