Buy and keep after leaving sky?

I’m thinking of leaving sky, but now I’m worried I’ll lose all my buy & keep films. I’ve a small fortune on there. So if we leave we’ll no longer be able to view them through the box? Only on a iPad etc?

That is correct, you will no longer be able to access them via your Sky box but you can via the Sky Store player app and Sky Store website.

Hi, I've recently cancelled my sky and now I can't view any of the movies I purchased on the sky store app. Can anyone help?

What device are you using?

Mobile, tablet, PC, Smart TV or Now TV box or ?

You will need to contact Sky and ask them to change you account to a Sky Store only one, they can be contacted a few ways as you can see here:

https://www.skystore.com/help/contact-us

Once they have done this you will be able to access your purchases via all ways apart from a Sky box.

I lost all mine when I cancelled and took over my mother's subscription (looking after her as she has dementia). So will never by another Sky store movie. I was told you can't even transfer them even though you own them. Not happy with sky at all been with them for years. I couldn't cancel my mother's subscription as she was tied into a new contract (changed to Sky q)

With regard to your old account in your name, I don't see why you can't contact the Skystore team and ask them to make your old account accessible on Skystore online and view your movies through a compatible device 

You don't need to subscribe to Sky to watch a Skystore movie on a device

So on the same question when I transferred to SkyQ the engineer said I could keep the Sky+ box with the smaller memory,( because I'd effectively paid for it in the first 18 months), but that if I left later the SkyQ box would always be recovered/returnable to Sky despite £39.50/m ongoing sub suggesting any buy and keep would only be available via an app.

The Sky + box belongs to you @JB2426 

All Sky Q boxes are on loan to you from Sky so need to be returned if you ever leave Sky

That is correct, if you cancelled and left Sky your purchases would only be available online via the Sky Store website or app.

Hi I left sky Month ago I had 60 + titles buy and keep now when I log in to sky store all I have 6 films , I'm feeling angry 😡. Can any one help

I'm leaving Sky to go to BT (£50 cheaper!) part of the package is NOW tv do you know if I'd be able to access my films via that as it'll be on the BT box & not a separate one.
