wont let me watch recordings from sky Atlantic or mtv says upgrade package

anyone having trouble wont let me watch gangs of london 3 or mtv catfish that ive recorded says i need to upgrade package however lets me watch the actual mtv channel and atlantic channel which gangs of london 3 is on 😞

Do you have HD subscription?

Hi @Kevin4   Normally because you are trying to watch a programme in HD, when you don't have a HD subscription.

hi no ive not recorded in hd just the usual sky atlantic channel it so strange as the channel its self is working i can watch it now but none of my recordings are working i did remove my hd package as i dont watch hd tv but im 100%not recording from sky atlatic hd also the hd ended on the 21st march and i was watching the episodes last night which was the 22nd today is the 23rd so strange its also not letting me contact sky help live chat anyone have a contact number for sky?

If it downloaded the next episode automatically (as it usually does) then it follows the download quality setting in:

Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences
so make sure that is now set t SD

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)
