warning message about HD-capable receivers on BBC1 in Ireland - Sky Q box

Hi Folks.
Seeing this message across the screen on our Sky Q box - BBC1, certain programmes.
This was on "The following events are based on a pack of lies" this evening.
We're in the Republic of Ireland.

Visited the sky.com link - and I'm no wiser.
What do we need to do to remove the message?

You just need to watch the HD version of BBC One. If that's not on the EPG in Ireland, hopefully the BBC will make it available to you before they close the SD version early next year.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought we were watching the HD version, but I see that, on the program guide, it doesn't have HD against it. There is a BBC NI HD - I guess we'll have to see if that carries the same programming....

My BBC NI HD doesn't work on my sky (im in the Republic of  Ireland). I always have to go to chanel 832 to watch BBC but now I won't have that either (it's SD). Any solution to this or way to get BBC HD? Also how do we get rid of the notification in the meantime?

There's no way to remove the message, it's part of the broadcast.

I'm not familiar with BBC availability in Ireland but is BBC One HD listed on the EPG? If it is, what happens when you try to access it?

Hi Natalie. We're also in the Republic - and today switched frm the BBC 1 offering to the BBC1 HD NI - which seems to have the same programming but without that annoying message....
So far so good!
