to change from hdm1 to 4 0n skyq box

in order to connect to my amazon firestick i need to change my tv from hdmi1 to 4 is this possible to do this on sky q remote without having to go on tv remote as it seems to go crazy

You should be able to do this using the 'Input' button  on the SKY Remote which is at the top right of the most recent remotes (looks a bit like an old TV screen with arrow pointing  in from the left).

Each press should cycle throgh the different Inputs on your TV so you will need to press a few times

BTW If your TV & Firestick are set to use HDMI control (which usually they are ) pressing the FiresticK Home button would also change over to it

you cant scroll through the imputs  - it shows them on the screen but no buttons actually change from your existing source.

Changing input with a Sky remote isn't entirely reliable because television manufacturers implement this feature in different ways.

The remote for the Stream puck has no input button at all.

Hi @alesis   For the vast number of quality TVs, each press of the button should move the selection down one.

That's how it works on my Sony TV, each press goes to the next input.  When it gets to the one I want, I stop pressing & the TV then switches input & the TV's selection menu closes.

thanks all but my Phlips OLED doesnt change imputs no matter what button I press.
