suddenly HD downloads are not working

I have been with sky for nearly 20 years and I recently renewed my contract ( the same package etc just at a cheaper price ) and also removed multiscreen ( as I no longer use it ) and now I have been having issues with downloading etc in HD... basically I have had to change the preferences to download in SD otherwise I can't download or get anything on demand. This has then caused everything pixilating on all downloads etc... its so frustrating.  What has caused this? HELLLLPPPPPP

@katykaty check that you still have the HD subscription on your account

I have never knowingly subscribed to HD but have always been able to get on demand etc in HD. Maybe it was included and I didn't know ( maybe as a freebee or an offer ?) but since I renewed my contract recently it is when the problem occurred so I assume they have changed something. I will have to try and contact them but that is easier said than done.

You can view your current subscriptions on your SKY Q box from My Sky section

Alternatively if you go into Bills from there you can see the breakdown of your subscription now & in the past
