got new toshiba tv and the sky q remote will not switch to standby. it goes to a sub-menu saying restart, standby, power off, and cancel. tv switches off with tv remote control perfectly

Hi @hdg It sounds like you are holding down the power button too long. On the latest remotes the red LED flashes once to let you know when the TV power off signal has been sent. Only hold it down for 2-3 seconds at most.
