sky q mini stuck on Step 1 of 4, pressing the dot button on the remote doesn't help as the remotethe

We had 3 power cuts last night and the Sky Q Mini doesnt work. I've pressed the reset button and held it in whilst powering on and kept reset held in for 30 seconds. I had a red light flash a few times but no green flashing light. The box has an orange standby light on. The remote won't operate the Sky Q Mini but will control the TV volume. Powering Sky Q Mini on with the front panel button gets a display on the tv but we end up stuck on screen 1 of 4 because pressing the Home button does nothing because the Sky Q Mini doesn't respond to any remote commands.

Do a reset on the remote. Bet it's not linked to the box any more.

I have paired RC but set up of mimi box is not working. It says step one of four press the select/dot button. But no response.
