renew or amend or cancel tv contract
how do i get in touch with someone with regard to doing this, ideally on the phone? ive phoned the customer service but am just stuck on hold music for ever. Ive been a customer for 20 years and find it disgraceful that I can't speak to someone. can i at least speak to an actual person in online chat instead of some useless bot?

Re: renew or amend or cancel tv contract
The less busier times to call are reportedly when lines open at 7.00am or after 9.00 pm. When asked why you're calling say 'cancel'. The cancellations team are the best people to speak to for negotiating a new deal (and obviously for cancelling).

Re: renew or amend or cancel tv contract
Following the storms of last night and today the lines will be extremely busy with satellite dish and broadband issues so it will undoubtedly take longer to get through.
To call Sky dial 150 (free) from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile or alternatively use the following link which will hopefully lead to contact details including a phone number:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ leading to a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ to see a dedicated ROI number.
Alternative means is through the Sky Virtual Assistant on the same page - depending on your query, which can connect you with a live agent virtually if necessary.

Re: renew or amend or cancel tv contract
Beginning of August is too early really.
These are the current methods for contacting Sky…
▪️call by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile. Calls to Sky will start automated which may offer you the online help route (see below) or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is not likely to work.
▪️online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
▪️ Sky Assistant is also available at the top of sky.com/help for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It will provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
▪️Social Media You can also get in touch with Sky via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).
