"Sky X-Wing" added to Apple account

I just got  a notification on all my Apple devices that a new device was added for Phone and FaceTime (or something like that).  When I go to my Apple Settings, there is now a new device called "Sky X-Wing".  After some online searches, it sounds like this could just be my Sky box, but I don't understand why it suddenly showed up today.

For context, I do have a Sky account, but I am currently away from home and there are Airbnb renters staying in my flat in the UK.  I'm not sure if they have managed to do something to my account settings that is potentially concerning, or if this is just a new feature that was rolled out.  I don't know if removing the Sky X-Wing from my Apple account will affect their ability to watch TV, or if leaving it alone could give them access to my other personal details.  It does say in the settings "This device cannot be used to receive Apple Account verification codes," so that is somewhat helpful, but I would appreciate some clarification on what is happening here and what, if anything, I should do.

hi @Misfitz

Sorry I can't help with the Apple side of things, or why it should suddenly show but I believe X-wing is one of the internal names used by SKY  which can sometimes show elsewhere

This discussion mentions this and others:SKY Q Star Wars themed box names

I'd think it means they've accessed the Apple TV app on the Q box (or at least tried to do so)

Unfortunately having Sky television hardware active in rented accommodation is always rather risky, particularly if the tenants have been given the PIN number (for example to watch age-restricted content)

It's also somewhat dubious under the T&C's.

They have to login to your icloud account on a new device to access messages and facetime and prompt that message. And on a device that supports those apps. Don't think a sky box does.

I would look into it more with Apple.
