not all the channels are coming up ?
had many problems, due to the storrm . had it sort of fixed but found had 0% of the channels listed on my Sky Q box in view .So got a guy to come round and about 70% working . He had to come around again and re-tune the dish.(again) Initially it did not work , but after 2 days , it is now , as it was . Oddly the main channels causeing problems was CNN French News andUK news . Bloomberg but not CNN other channel, share news . weird . My question is why those ones nad not any other ones.

Re: not all the channels are coming up ?
This 'guy', was he a Sky engineer or an approved independent satellite engineer?

Re: not all the channels are coming up ?
yes he was/ What happened a large cardboard box hit the LNB or dish . Note the dish is almost at ground level ie 4 ft above ground fitted to a concrete post ( that does n ot move at all ) it was just bad luck the wind was in the worse direction and at 50 mph . The Dish has been there around 5 years but there has been a dish there in the same place for 15 years . No problem at all ! until last weekend . I have found a dish at ground level is far safer against the winds. Note i had a 1.3 meter dish next to it for 10 years

Re: not all the channels are coming up ?
For your information GB News and CNN are amongst the weaker channels broadcasting in the UK, along Bloomberg. They use a different a European wide beam rather than the normal UK/ROI transponder.
These channels will likely be one of the first to be affected if your satellite dish is slightly out of alignment which won't be visible to the naked eye.
