mums partner moved out and cancelled sky do I have to wait for it to run out till I set up a new account the internet runs out next wee and the tv the week after

The Sky Q equipment and potentially the broadband hub will need returning to Sky which that account holder is responsible for. Give Sky a call, explain the situation and see if the order can be placed now. The lead in time for broadband will be at least 14 days.
