I have just ordered a second skybox (sky Q) and it's stating that there is no IP address octane. Do you resolve this?

Try resetting the network settings on the Sky Q box by going to Home > Settings > Status > Network setup > Reset
From there reconnect it back to your WiFi and hopefully it successfully obtains an IP
