have tried everything possible but audio description still is on every time we change volume.

What do you mean by the Audio Description is on each time you change volume? Is the TV announcing the volume level? If so that will be a settting on the TV itself rather than Sky.

Audio description is off ,but still happening, only started yesterday

No. None of the answers provided turns audio description off. It only appears on certain programmes, both on itvX

None of the answers stopped it. For me, it is onlyk happening in Lewis and Vera, both on itvx

ITV says
Audio description (AD)
Audio description works on our mobile apps, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Samsung TVs, Virgin Media, Chromecast, Sky Q, Sky Glass and Freesat. We're working on adding this feature for browsers and the remaining TV platforms.
You switch AD on and off by clicking on the AD button within the video player window (after any adverts have finished).
