delay in engineer visit when moving home for Sky TV

What is causing the delay in arranging engineer visit for my new home?  Booked it today 4/8 and have to wait a month for the engineer visit.

@MJ2105 You're only speaking to fellow customers hers so no-one can tell you why there is a delay, however i would hazard a guess its due to the recent reduction in installers now Sky are focusing more on stream and Sky Glass.

@MJ2105 as @daveNOS says there are less engineers now as more people take out Sky Stream also bare in mind that we are now into the school holidays and there will be engineers off on holiday through the month of August which also wn't be helping your situation
