connecting skyQ to new skyhub

Openreach ran a new fibre cable & fitted box in my home this morning

i can connect my smart tv,s, phone & laptop to internet, but my sky Q box will not connect, i,ve tried wireless & with ethernet cable used with old router,  purple ethernet port on skyq box to purple broadband port on new hub

NO I,P address obtained message comes up after few minutes attempting to obtain IP address

That doesn't sound like the correct colour: ethernet ports on Sky hardware are typically yellow.

 

The purple port on a Hub is for the connection to a 'phoneline' circuit to receive ADSL or FTTC.
