I downsized my package droped HD and have sky signature and sky sports complete with HD.However when I select programmes on sky atlantic  such as The guilded Age, and other programmes on other channels it tells me I need to upgrade even when I thought they were included in my sky signature channels .Why ? what should i do?

Without the HD add-on you can't view the Atlantic HD broadcast channel, download on-demand / box sets in HD from non-free-to-air sources or play back HD recordings or downloads previously made from non-free-to-air HD.

It's best to change the default download format to SD, otherwise you'll need to select the SD version every time.

To change your download preferences, you need to complete this on the main Sky Q box, not a Sky Q mini box:

  1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Setup.
  2. Select Preferences, then On Demand default download format, and choose SD

'sky sports complete with HD' applies only to the Sports channels: they don't use the separate HD add-on.
