If you rewind back 'one click' it seems to make it work better without the sound and rewind issues. Let me know if that helps.

So now on Q270.000.10.09L and the Netflix 4K pixelation thing appears to have been sorted although time will tell. However first time pausing YouTube and........
........same old problem. Well over a year now and no fix in sight it would appear

Yeah like I mentioned that in the OP.
While it isn't a fix, it seems to be the least annoying way around it..
It's become such a habit now that I even do that on other players too sometimes.. 🤦🏻

I have been premium for best part of the last two years and its been ok mostly, just switched back and it seems to be it cant load the ads in and gets stuck. I think DNS could maybe be the issue here, I dont use any ad blockers or firewalls.

I'm not sure because I've been premium for the entire time I've had these issues so no ads on my end and I'm still getting the sound out of sync then skip then buffer

So mine is a total freeze every 5 minutes or so, I just went into manual network settings set a the ip to 122 so it wont get a dupe being static and changed the dns from 8.8.8.8 to 8.8.4.4 and everything is running smoothly so far and I got to watch an... ad... yay...!

Still working solidly, if you try update the network settings in manual only change the last number of the Ip address and the dns, anything from 120 to 150 for the IP should be free to use.

Its the only way to change the dns on the box, if your ISP locks out the primary DNS its the only way.
Needless to say the issue I was having isnt that of this topic it seems, so anyway I'm getting the same loading issues as everyone else now instead.
My solution unplug the skybox turn it off and plug in the Amazon firestick.

I have had this youtube pause issue for months now. It is infuriating. If I pause the video, a few seconds after unpausing the sound will mute for a second then a few moments later the video will either rewind back, buffer, freeze or go to an ad. If I watch an ad, then pause then unpause, it then goes to yet another ad then fails again by jumping back a few mins. Ads seem to be an issue for sure along with pausing.

I have the same issue. I thought it was due to WiFi so I connected my box directly to the router via ethernet. But it is exactly the same.
Are Sky actually looking at this? We pay a premium and personally I love Sky Q but this issue is starting to frustrate more and more!
