Hi,
My main Sky Q 1tb box was causing me problems. I booked an engineer but couldn't be appointed until 11th January 2024. This was best part of 3 weeks to wait. I therefore opted to have ther box changed. No questions were asked by Sky. A box arrived 28th December 2023 and DPD courier asked for my old one. This I did and I asked if there was anything to be handed over with the new one. He said 'no'. Big mistake as he handed over a 2tb and it had a different power point which did not suit my existing power lead. The input is similsr to a 5pin din. I contacted skt tech and first person suggested they offer £5.00 for me to buy correct lead. I'm 70 and wouldn't know where to buy one especially over Christmas. There fore I declined . He then decided he would send another box for the following day. This was a lie as a further enquiry showed he had order another cable. Was it the correct one? I don't know as nothing has arrived. I then raised a complaint but nothing could be done even alter the engineer's visit. All I need is a box with correct power lead that I can fit.
PLEASE< PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi @trevandjan
Unfortunately this does seem to happen occasionally.
AFAIK You can't buy the power supplies needed for this type of box as it is proprietary to SKY.
What I find strange is that I have not known SKY to send out just a power supply let alone charging for it.
I will escalate your post to a SKY support team, who, hopefully, will be in touch & hopefully can arrange for this to be sorted
Please see this link re the escalation and what you might see:

If you are using Safari I believe you must make sure that 'Hide IP address' is not checked in settings to be able to see it - if you have difficulty finding that setting then may be try accessing here with another browser

Hi all,
It turns out that the first courier was to blame. He should of handed over the whole box containing everthing I needed. Very annoying as I asked if there was anything else and he said no. DPD have alot to answer for.
Anyway all is now o.k.
