Why can’t I get GB News on my sky box when it’s raining ?

Connection problems to GBNews always early morning. I've had the dish moved to outside my lounge window because I was told my neighbours trees obscured the signal. The trees have been removed but the problems still there?  I've now got a sky dish exactly where I didn't want it because of a prblem the cause of which has been removed, please help

Because, somewhat ironically, the channel owners have chosen to prioritise viewing in mainland Europe to the detriment of UK reception.

The downside for UK viewers is if they use a smaller Sky zone 1 dish in parts of northern and western Britain. The GB News signal may be more prone to fade in heavy rain. Affected viewers may wish to consider an upgrade to a zone 2 dish (60cm).

GB News changed transponder towards the end of last year. This has caused problems with the signal for UK viewers but not other European countries.
