Why can't I cancel our free Sky Sport trial online?

I was sent an email the other from Sky regarding our free trial for Sky Sports, and there was an option to cancel subscription, but every time I click on it says that there seems to be a problem and can't currently cancel our subscription. Please can you advise? Thank you.

@Nat777Anouk  You will need to call to cancel, these are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …

🔶📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.

To remove part of your TV package you need to contact Sky giving the standard 31 days notice. If you have 'in contract' discounts you may not be able to remove them. Also make sure cancellation of a certain add-on doesn’t cancel another part of a discount.

You may be able to remove it via this link which includes a message option (should be available between 9am & 7.30pm) or by calling in using the number that will appear.
