Why can I not screen mirror from Ii phone to sky q

I have just changed from virgin to sky q but cannot screen mirror my apps onto the tv . Is this normal for sky ?

Sorry my e mail was not very clear . Thank you for your support . With your help I have now managed to mirror using the TV . I'm not sure how I did it ( not very tech saved) but I have . Thank you 😊

@Jayne221  You screen mirror from  your mobile device to your TV  not a Sky Q box as this never been possible with Sky Q

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Looks like the VM TV box supported casting.  As noted, Sky Q box's don't have this functionality.

 

Your TV may support direct casting.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
