Why are broadcast TNT sports channels only available in conjunction with a Sky package?

I just wonder, I'm not expecting a solution.

Last year I had a BT Sport subscription, via Plusnet, which allowed me to watch live rugby via satellite on Sky Q.

I currently have a Viaplay subscription that allows me to watch URC rugby via satellite on Sky Q.

However now that BT Sport had become TNT Sport, it appears there is no way to watch their sport via satellite rather than streaming, without paying extra for Sky pay-channels I don't want. (I currently have a Sky Q box with Sky essentials.)

Watching rugby via broadcast is vastly better than watching via streaming, if Viaplay can enable it, why  doesn't Discovery?
