Why are all the channels through my Sky q box so dark.
All the channels through my Sky q box are very dark with loss of most colour. In a ot of cases they are unwatchable. The normal tv channels are bright and clearm so this means I am paying for a sub-standard service. I have tried all the suggestions and still very poor quality.

There's no reason they should be any darker. Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Also it might be obvious but have you checked your TVs brightness and other picture settings on the Sky input?

I have moved the HDMI cable and replaced it. The TV settings have been at their brightest and if you change from sky to the same channel on normal TV the difference is very clear. So it's not the TV settings or HDMI. I have the settings suggested by sky and followed all the recommendations. They have made.
