UHD is typically not free.  The default box is capable of UHD output, but this is almost always only available as a resolution to subscribers who are paying extra: the current new customer offer price on Sky Q is HD for £9 with UHD on top of that for an additional £4

Edit: when Multiscreen is added, HD goes up to £13 but UHD on top of HD reduces to £0 additional cost.

I have to say I'm struggling to see how this translates as 'great savings' ; )

I needed to lie down in a darkened room after I finally worked out how much I was saving by adding Multiscreen then UHD+HD then selecting HD which removes the added UHD+HD to get HD for £9.00

Dark room is calling again saved £4.00

I'm not a new customer though 😉

This is such a rip off, I'm paying £9pm for hd, £2pm for sky sports hd (& that's with a £4pm discount) & then another £4pm for uhd! That's a quarter of my whole bill, I think after 10 years with sky it's about time I left
