Which Sky Q box do I have? Serial number doesn't make sense.
My Sky Q box has the hardware version 32B214 after I just updated its system software.
The music section says it is a 1TB.
A lot of comments on this forum state that is should be a UHD box, however, it does not let me download UHD Sky movies, and prompts me to upgrade.
So which is it? I currently use one multiroom Sky Mini, and want to know if I can purchase another.
Thanks in advance.

@adingle
You can have a maximum of 4 mini boxes loaned to you by Sky. You can watch Sky content on two minis and the main box at the same time. You may be able to use a 3rd mini box at the same time if you’re using it for one of the apps such as Netflix.
Be aware the original 1TB (non-UHD) Sky Q box only allows one mini to be in use. To check if you have the non UHD 1TB box check in:-
Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it shows as 32Cxxx then you have a non UHD 1TB that only supports 1 active mini box.
All 2TBs and the UHD/HDR 1TB permit two mini boxes. Each mini box which is loaned to you may be subject to a one off upfront charge but you only need one Sky Q monthly Multiscreen subscription.

Are you paying for the UHD pack as part of your subscription? Is the box set to output 2160P on the video output settings?

Hi @adingle
the hardware versions are very reliable
The 32B2nn can be 2TB or 1TB - the standard issue is the 1TB version
I am fairly certain that you would not even see a UHD version to download if you have a non UHD box & would likely get a different error rather a prompt to upgrade which) as hinted at by @Padam_Padam, i smore like due to your subscription probably not including the UHD add on
As per @Daniel0210 notes the 1TB UHD box (which I am confident you have) does allow 2 active minis

Re: Which Sky Q box do I have? Serial number doesn't make sense.
So I just checked 'My Sky' and my package, which I altered a few years ago, and is also when I got the box includes:
Sky Signature, Sky HD and Sky Cinema.
Why would they have sent me a Sky Q 1TB UHD if my package didn't include UHD?
It's also an all black box, if that helps to identify it, it doesn't have any silver on it.

hi @adingle
SKY 1TB non UHD boxes have not been made for a while although some are reused - especially for customers changing from SKY HD
SKY 1TB UHD boxes have been the default box irrespective of subscriptions for some time now & many cistiomers do not take out the UHD sub

If you're not paying for the UHD add-on then you won't be able to watch UHD content from Sky Cinema I'm afraid. The 1Tb UHD box is the standard box supplied whether you pay for UHD or not.
