Where is the backup button on SKYQ2TB box

My Sky is not working properly. Not downloading or recording. Rebooting didn't work and instructions for Software update requires holding down the backup button but there is no button of any kind on top of the box. Where is it ?

@Bibhat+Mandal the only Sky box that has a rset button on the back is the mini box 

You could try resetting the settings in the Q boxes hidden menu.
To enter the hidden menu press the home button and scroll down to settings but do not select settings.
With settings highlighted press 0 0 1
Only Carry out the first Reset being Reset Settings as the others will wipe all recordings.
After the reset you will have to re-pair your remote assuming you are using a bluetooth remote by pressing 1 and 3 together on the remote

Thanks Laing for your helpful comments on resetting. But I was in fact referring to 'backup' button which is supposed to on top of Sky box. Sky.com help page recommends " "Updating the software on your skybox", if rebooting fails. It advises,

  • While holding down the standby button on your remote, switch off Skybox at mains
  • Next, press and hold down the backup button on the Skybox itself.

But, there is no button on top of Sky Q 2TB.

So, how do I update the Skybox software?

Chances are you do not need a software update.

That article sounds like it should be a Sky+ box, rather than Sky Q. That is not really what Sky Q does or shows from a restart.

Thanks a lot. We have decided for a new box and arranged for a Sky engineer visit.
