Where have all the sky cinema channels gone? There appear to be very few channels anymore, and where has animation channel gone.....

Most of the Sky Cinema channels are now HD only, if you only have SD you will be missing most of them. For HD viewers they are all still available on channels 301-312.
Animation has temporarily changed to Sky Fairytales.

Warner Bros Discovery chose to stop broadcasting TCM Movies in the UK on July 6th: the US version of the channel was saved after a last minute intervention by Spielberg/Scorsese/Anderson
In addition, Canal+ has chosen to close ROK ('Nollywood' movies) as of June 29th
It's worth remembering that most channels on the Sky platforms are not owned or managed by Sky Group (a division of Comcast): if an owner chooses to cease distribution there's nothing Sky can do about it.
