Probably somewhat related to the Soundbox having been launched in mid-2017 and removed from the Sky product lineup by the end of 2020 (which is why the Soundbox Forum no longer exists)
The 'most recent' update was also the first and only update, and and was relevant to the first production batch.

The firmware and help pages should still be available no matter when they stopped selling them, its hasn't been that long and soundoxes/bars aren't replaced that quickly, just poor from sky

But there's only ever been 1 FW update (years ago) - why would they need to keep them available?

Why? for one reason i needed it and because of some kind soul he stored it on his on google storage account, which he can remove whenever he wants, i managed to get it, shouldn't that be the job of the company that sold these lol
also how is anyone meant to know that theres only ever been 1 FM update when sky have no help pages stating that?? oh they should go of a comment on a forum where someone could be giving out incorrect info, oh got ya!

The Soundbox appears to have been somewhat misguided from the start: not being specified for ARC or Atmos (and missing any OSD) was frankly a mistake, and it was culled from the product lineup (presumably once the initial manufacturing batch finally sold out) after Comcast acquired Sky in late 2018, which may not be a coincidence.
