What won’t F1 record on sky sports ?

We pay for sky sports so my husband can watch it as it's the only thing he's really into on TV. If he can watch it live that's fine but if he sets it to record he just won't ! Why ? It's flipping £29 a month and now he can only watch the highlights on channel 4 so what's the point in paying for it ! Some have said series link isn't working but we can't even record one ! It's not on sky ! We can record on all other channels but not this one the most expensive subscription. We will cancel if you don't sort it out ! Not happy at all 😠

Whats happening when you try to record it once? Anything recording at all?

Which system do you have  - SKY HD/ SKY Q, SKY Glass or SKY Stream ?

Are you trying to set on SKY F1 channel  or sometimes  on SKY Main Event ?

Do you get the red / white R symbol when you initially set ?

He says Sky F1 and yes we get the record symbol so it says it will record but then it doesn't

Do any other programmes record ?

He only try's to recordF1 on there but all other channels rec with no issues

 Please can you try settig a single programme on the F1 channel to record later today - may I suggest Ferrari Challenge Europe that is scheduled for 7pm

Once set double checj that the record sysmbol shows in the TV guide

Also please go to Recordings - Scheduled and make sure it is listed there.

Then when the programme is a few minutes in (say around 10 past 7)  see if it is recording & shows in the Most recent section

BTW one thing to note is that F1 races tend to be grouped with any previous recorings so for example for me, today's recordings all got grouped with a  Saved recording I have from a USA Grand Prix that I have kept from 2022

Omg you are amazing! I had no idea it did that 🤦‍♀️ just scrolled  recording's  from 2023 and finally found it ! Thank you so so much for your help ! My husband is over the moon xxxx
