What is the point of vip offers

Can't see the point of vip offers, they are usually only for kids. Or latest vue cinema tickets every month, no vue cinema near, movies are available are already available via streaming systems like Netflix or are old films and who wants to sit in a cinema to watch those. And the new films on vue are rank not the sort you want to travel miles to go and see a standard movie. So why bother with all this vip **bleep**. I've not used a single offer since having it for years now.

It's a marketing scheme.  Like most marketing, it's best to ignore it rather than being upset by it.
