What are the colored buttons for on sky a remote

I've got new sky Q and just wondering what the 4 colored buttons are for on the remote control

A press on that gives access to 'Red Button' service when a channel has this.

The other colours effectively do nothing.

I have always been very disappointed that the coloured buttons apart from the red button are not used (although IIRC one button - green? - does have one fairly obscure use)

To me it reflects poor customer focus from those resposnible for the UI.

I may be wrong but I have a gut feeling that they were afraid to use colour buttons other than for a 'standard' rather than focus on the usability for users.

I think it amazes customers coming from SKy +/HD where IIRC the coloured buttons were  useful shortcuts
