We had a new sky box fitted on Thursday and its stopped working, hard drive not connected?

Our Q box broke, and a engineer came to install a new one on Thursday, all worked fine when he left, then Friday morning is said hard drive not connected. We can watch current TV but no recordings...no lights on box...the 2nd box has lights but not connecting at all...any advice?
