The tv and Sky box are currently in a room being converted to a new kitchen. We need to move it to what will be the living room.

Hi @Alison+MS

It would appear that you will need to have the new location re-cabled from the dish.

If this is possible depends on the new location and whether or not there is a suitable route from the dish and an outside wall.

If it is possible Sky will do this for a charge;  maybe in the region of £65

@Alison+MSUnless it is an easy route where you could use a "satellite extension kit" you will have to ask Sky or an independent satellite installer to move the leads from the dish to the new location. Sky can charge a standard fee of about £65, if you use an independent get a quote it may be much more expensive but you will have more control of timing and the way the cable is run.
