Washed my sky remote in the washe ! Obviously by error ! Cannot set up due to new today settings

I have brought a new remote and cannot set up due to a new today go to settings on screen cannot get that off the screen as the old remote doesn't work !

It doesn't matter that the old remote does not work.

May I suggest you first reset your new remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV (as @Chodley  advises)  - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared
