Wanted to upgrade and sign up to new contract but basic price increasing. Tempted to leave

Currently pay £19 for sky signature and £6 for Netflix. Wanted to add sky sports for £27.
Trouble is that, on 20th October, the price of my Sky signature increases. I'm tempted to just leave as surely sky would prefer to get £52 per month, rather than nothing.
This seems crazy! Anyone else had such issues? If so, how did you resolve? Thanks

@Julie+DB I would guess that your discounted period for signature ends on that date which is why it increases if you contact Sky to upgrade to Sky sports there is no harm in seeing if they will give you a new deal for Sky signature at the same time.

Surley its worth asking ?  😁

Thank you. I've already asked and they won't move on the price of my basic signature package price. What a shame they're going to lose £52 per month. I wonder how many others are in the same boat and about to cancel?

@Julie+DB you could leave it a few weeks and try again see if a different advisor can do a different deal the final option is to wait until your current deal is about to end and ask to be put through to cancellations they can often give better deals
