Upgrade to sky q from sky+ 6 days ago. Most recordings lose 2 minutes due to a 'technical fault'
Last Tuesday our dish and box were both replaced. Live recordings worked immediately. Those from catch up or on demand not until I was advised here to update the software. Thanks.
However in the 6 days since most programs we have recorded or downloaded after transmission have had approx 2 minutes missing. We get the 'there is a technical fault with this channel. Please try again later'. Historically with our old box and dish this was extremely rare. Maybe 3x a year in thunderstorms or very heavy rain.
TIA

putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
