Upgrade to Sky Q from Sky HD

Hi.

 

If I upgrade to Sky Q from Sky HD do they take my Sky HD box away with them or is it mine to keep?

 

If I keep it, would I be able watch my old recordings still from the old Sky HD box with the satellite cables removed from it or does it cease to be able to playback recordings after the installation of the new Sky Q box?

It's yours but but will cease to function for playback and record once the Q viewing card is activated.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
