Re: Unwanted sign language in recordings downloaded

Hello, I've just found this when going through Sky. It's brought up the BSL version, whilst I don't have a problem with this, I don't need it. I found by going straight to the Channel 4 app on Sky & signing in you can watch the latest without BSL. 👍

Re: Unwanted sign language in recordings downloaded

This is crazy. There is an option to download SD and HD under the all format options why can't this be added as an option too?

It's frustrating that it takes up part of my screen and an inconvenience at best. If you rely on this content, surely it's even more frustrating that you can't download this format in demand.

Thsi issue still has NOT been resolved.  For example I've been watching the latest series of VIllage By The Sea.  It has been set, once, on series record.  First four programmes were all fine but later ones are all signed and are unwatchable.  Can't SKY get this sorted.  We pay good money for this and it's not acceptable.

@pra29 it sounds as though the series link you've set is picking up and recording the signed episode rather than the standard one. You could check in the TV Guide whether or not that's the case. If so, report it to Sky's Viewer Relations team. You can email them as viewerr@sky.uk

But why should the series link change.  I can only find ONE version on programme guide.

If there's only one version, that's the only one the series link can record.

Exactly, so first few programmes recorded justy fine then they changed to signed.  That's the issue.

@pra29 as that is a BBCprogramme then the problem is the BBC's they deal with the meta links and it is the BBC that supply the programmes so your options really are to contact Sky viewer relations who can contact the BBC or contact the BBC direct
