Unable to turn Sky Qbox on with remote

As the remote would not turn SkyQ box on we put new batteries in but it still won't turn SkyQbox on so have been unable to watch anything. We tried turning off and unplugging at the socket still without success. Could we need a new remote?

Hi @B_1H   I would try resetting your reboot by holding down the 7 & 9 keys until the LED flashes four times. It will now be unpaired and in IR mode, so line of sight required. Hold down 1 & 3 to re-pair.

Hi @B_1H 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.
