Unable to Activate Disney Plus on Sky

Hello. That's an hour of my life I won't get back going round in a loop trying to activate Disney Plus. Sky have taken £8.99 from my account and when I go on the app it says to use the QR Code which then takes me to the Sky Login Page which in turn takes me to Disney Plus which but gets stuck with a black screen with a blue circle.

When I go onto the app on the Sky Box it says Welcome Back Restart Subscription. I log in and it takes me back to the Home Page saying Restart Subscription.

At a complete loss. Does anyone have any ideas. TIA

Sometimes the anti-tracking stuff in Safari blocks cookies used for authentication

 

is this on an iphone?

I've escalated this to Sky and they should be in touch with you soon about it.
Look out for a message from Sky on your email and Sky Community private messages.
Look out for the blue chat bubble within your Sky community.

Thanks for your help. All sorted now 🙂After I gave up and went to bed my son continued to try and after several attempts it finally let him on.

I'm wondering if it was an issue and the system was down.

Yes! Ive got the same thing going on, they must know there app isen't working by now, and  have'nt delt with it just makes you think they cant be botherd.

The activation works fine for most people so I'm not sure why they would know "their app isn't working by now"?

I've been trying since yesterday and still no joy. I've tried phone/laptop with no success.

As it was for my son I left him with it and he  said he didn't do anything different it just worked out the blue so I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
