I cannot see tbe end of my recordings I heR u could add mins to them but the new q boxes you can why would u do than and tell anyone will speak to engineer if not satisfied will think about cancellation

Hi @Dave332   All the major channels keep the EPG up to date. Unfortunately, some of the minor channels do not. If you are in any doubt, set the following programme to record as well. Admittedly I only watch major channels, but having recorded hundred of thousands of programmes, only a handful didn't record the ending. Mainly sport and BBC. If you are not satisfied, then I would cancel.

Thanks is it true that the old sky boxes had a plus and minus to alter the time but the new ones they've taken it away it's mostly the sports I have problems with will see what tbe engineer says thanks for your help

The engineer won't be able to say anything different.  Best option is to set the next program to record as well if you're worried about missing the end

Yes SKY HD boxes allowed you to add time & IIRC also manually set times (although I could be wrong as it is around 8 years ago tha I switched)

I am not too sure why decided to solely rely on the TV Guide with SKY Q but customisable recording has never been implemented on SKY Q.

Thus, as the others have indicated, the best method to make sure you don't miss the end of a sporting event or similar is to set the next programme(s) to record
