Tv on Sky Q main box goes black and I get a spinning circle for a few seconds, totally random!

TV on Sky q main box screen goes black for a few seconds and I get a spinning circle then the picture comes back….repeat……(see clip)

it is sporadic and won't happening for days but when it starts it will happen for 30 mins or more. Internet is fine and hard wired to Sky Q, although don't think that's relevant. Not channel specific, I’ve googled and seen others with the same issue but I haven’t found a solution. Spoke to Sky last week and they talked me through a software update and assured me that would be the end of the problem......obviously it wasn't. Seems to happen more at weekends, but maybe I just watch more TV then! Any help appreciated.

Hi @Rascal7770 With your TV remote try updating the software on your TV, or try another HDMI port on your TV to connect the SKYQ box?

The spinning circle looks to me more of a TV issue than a SKYQ box fault.

I will try but seems there are a lot of sky Q users with either this issue or the Netflix app spinning circle if I look around on the web. Thank you and will see if it works
