Turn off key press noise on Sky q remote

Does anyone know how to turn off the key press sounds on a Sky q remote? The remote in the living room is fine but the one for the mini box is driving me insane.

Not aware that the standard Sky Q has a key pressed feedback sound.  Can you describe in more detail what this remote looks like?

I agree with @Invisiblename I am not aware of any authentic Sky Q remotes ever having this function.

I don't think this is a sound generated by the remote - the mechanical press of the key makes a horrible clicking sound infuriating if you are couple and one of you hs insomnia and is looking for something to watch, the remote in general is annoying slippery, not balanced at all (especially when trying to enter channel numbers) and there are too many similar buttons and textures to make it ergonomic the old HD remotes were quite frankly vastly superior.

Quite possibly, but Sky+ HD was last manufactured in 2015.  Q has been around for nearly nine years, and the current remote (which is actually its third iteration) isn't going to change now.

Pity as it's ergonomically poor in comparison, I guess I'll have to see if any of the aftermarket ones can do the trick for the mini box, is not a problem in the lounge, but at 3am if you don't want to disturb your partner it's incredibly annoying...
