Hi all.
I wondered if anybody could help me with the above issue.
I am wanting to get the set-up just right with my new Soundbar & TV. I have connected it up via hdmi eARC. Everything seems okay, until I started looking into the setting on the sky box.
It has the choice of normal, Dolby digital & Dolby digital plus. Can somebody tell me which is the best for my Soundbar please?
thanks 👍👍

Hi @elthompo27
Dolby Digital plus if your Soundbar is capapable..
If you are going direct to TV with the Q box then your TV also needs to be capable of passing DD+ through the eArc connection.
Edit
Looking at the spec of the Soundbar it doesn't appear to have eArc and therefore unlikely to be able to accept DD+

hi @elthompo27
A quick look at the sound bar Specs would indicate it can only handle Dolby Digital so I don't think DD+ is an option -although being a 2.1. speaker set up I doubt you would hear any difference

Brill.
I didn't want to have it set on a setting it can't handle. I'll change it to Dolby Digital.
thanks 👍
