Trying to get prime video trial

Trying to get the 6month free trial of prime video, but when redirecting to my sky vip it does not show me the option to do this.

Is that 'Prime Video' or 'Amazon Prime'?

These are not the same thing: 'Amazon Prime' is the rather expensive monthly or annual subscription to 'free' delivery of goods ordered through Amazon, and includes basic 'Prime Video' access.

Typically Amazon has a perpetual 'six months free' offer for students on 'Amazon Prime'

You may be confusing it with the 6 month free trial of Apple TV+ which has now ended. You can only receive it now if you previously selected the offer on the VIP section of the MySky app. You have until July 7th to activate it from the link you would have been sent by Sky.
