Tried to change the channel, last night, when it seemed to freeze on the tv guide. Eventually started to let me run through the channels, but each time I chose a channel, it would show a screen of Acorn TV(?) Anyway, eventually got it working by switching off the tv, then back again. Roll forward to today and no 'Acorn TV' just a little black box with the legend 'technical fault'. The only way to clear it, is to turn the box off, leave it for 30 seconds, then back on again, when it works until the next channel change is required. My query is: does this sound like a fault TV box?

Yeah I would go theough the box teoubleshooter on the sky site. It leads to a replacement if all else fails.

Are you turning it off at the wall when you do this?
Could be a faulty box.

We switch off at the box, wait a minute, then back on again, and it'll work for about half a day. Then have to do it again. Have started to switch off at the wall socket, but it does entail the tv rebooting as well as the streaming pod (we only have Sky TV). ...bit time consuming and a bit irritating!
