Hi @simisola1

Are you taking the first step by Subscribing to Discovery plus through Sky Marketplace.

Re: Tried for months to get discovery plus on sky q. Have discovery plus account but sky dont recogn

I have just spent 2 hours on the phone with Sky support.  However, despite also contacting Discovery support, I continue to fail at the first hurdle.

When I go to My Sky (using Sky Q), and look at either Upgrades and Accessories, or Sky Shop (no Browse shop available), the only apps that show are Disney+ and Paramount+.  This means that I cannot select Discovery+ in order to link the subscription between Sky and Discovery.  All of the help info that I can find assume that this step is available. It isn't for me.

The link that Discovery support provided for me simply gets me to a Sky webpage that says "You need a Discovery+ subscription to do this, please check you've added Discovery+ to your account before trying again".  But I can't add Discovery+ to my account (see above).  Help!

JoePoplar, did you find a fix for this? I have exactly the same issue. No "Browse Shop", and no availability to select Discovery+.

Nope, I gave up, neither Discovery nor Sky resolved it. Pretty certain it's Sky, but Olympics finished so need to continue to chase Sky was gone, and I lost interest

Ok, I've sussed a way to make it work. The instructions on the Sky website are all wrong. Here's a step by step guide, you do not go to MySky at all. Hopefully this will help people.

1. Press home and go to Apps

2. Scroll across to Discovery+, and open the app

3. If you have any previous Discovery+ subscriptions, it may attempt to re-subscribe you via this method, so first sign out if it has automatically signed you in to a non active account.

4. Now choose sign in, and on the next page, choose "Get Discovery+"

5. This will trigger a few loading screens, but will eventually bring you to the subscription screen via your sky Q box.

6. In my case, at this point it says £0 Discovery+ Premium with my TNT account, but I'd imagine if you don't have TNT it will hopefully say £0 Discovery+

7. Press confirm, you will be taken to a page with a QR code, scan this and your mobile device directs you to create your Discovery+ account.

8. At this point you can create a Discovery+ account, or choose to sign in and reactivate a previous account using the Sky free subscription.

I hope this can save some people pulling their hair out on the phone to Sky.
