Toshiba TV can't connect to Sky Broadband

When I try connecting my Sky Q box to WiFi:

1) it won't connect when searching for Sky Broadband

2) it won't connect when searching for non sky broadband. It finds the sky broadband but then it won't accept the password

3) even the ethernet cable option doesn't bring any success

 

Any suggestions?

Yes my TV is working fine as it was able to pick up my mobile phone as a hotspot using the sky broadband WiFi. However getting the TV to connect direct to the Sky Broadband WiFi it won't pick it up.

I think you missed the point @Lisa-P1987  was making in that you failed to pick up the chat offer within the alloted 48hr period.  Consequently your issue will require re-escalating to get a Sky tech to chat with you.

It needs someone with that authority to do so.  Once it has been opened again, you'll need to keep your eyes open on this forum for the blue chat bubble to open up - you have 48hrs from then to respond.

@AlanOrkneyI am confused.

Is your Q box working and is it your TV that will not connect independently to your home WiFi. If you have used Ethernet to connect your router to the TV and it does not work it looks like a problem with your TV.

TV is working as it connects to my mobile hotspot.

Broadband is working as mobile connects to WiFi.

However when try connect TV to broadband then it a) can't find sky broadband, then b) when searching for other WiFi it sees the sky broadband but then rejects the password (even though my phone connects to sky broadband WiFi). TV too far for a physical ethernet cable connection

You keep mentioning that you are trying to connect your TV to the internet. Do you actually mean that you are trying to connect your Sky Q Box to the internet?
